Vibration isolation with passive linkage mechanisms

This study is to present a novel way achieve superior passive vibration isolation by employing specially designed and compact linkage mechanism. The proposed anti-vibration system has beneficial nonlinear inertia, inspired swinging motion of human arms, constructed with an adjustable stiffness animal or leg skeleton. It shown comprehensive theoretical analysis consequently validated series well-designed experiments that the stiffness, damping inertia are very helpful for significantly reducing resonant frequency enhancing effect in way. results excellent performance lower peak faster decay rate. provides innovative solution cost-efficient control demanded various engineering systems.
